Ok so i bought a used LC-1 off my friend who parted out his turbo civic... So i've got no maual or instructions or anything and i've searched around to find instructions but nothing is clear enough for me

So this is what ive got... its a 6-wire lc-1 not the 7 wire...

I'm running a p72 ecu with hondata s300
-Ok so ive got the red(12v power)wire hooked up to A25 - power wire on the ecu
- Black(Calibration wire) wire is grounded on the chassis
-White(System ground) wire is is hooked up to A26 - ecu ground
-Blue(heater ground) wire is grounded on the chassis on a seperate ground source than the black wire
So my question is.... will this work? and where do i run the brown wire(Analog output 2 - wideband) and yellow(Analog output 1 - narrowband) wire??? im not datalogging this, i just want the gauge to work and show me the a/f ratio. thats it.







and as far as the gauge goes.... there is a green, red, and black wire. i suppose the red one is a switched 12v source, black is chassis ground, but where does the green one go??

and what about those auxilliary-looking wires? what do i do with those? as you can see there is 2 female ends on the gauge and 1 female 1 male coming off of the wideband unit

Blue and white should share the same ground location....
Do not connect the black and brown to anything
Yellow goes to the gauge
Red on the gauge goes to 12 volts
black and green on the gauge go to a ground source

 

If you're not datalogging, it might be simpler to power/ground it from the chassis.

Do not permanently ground the BLK calibration wire to your chassis. By doing this it will put your sensor in calibration state always.

The BRN & YEL wires are both analogue signal wires. You need to program the LC1 using logworks (Free software download from Innovate) to set the voltage range and program where these wires will be connected.

Where you have the XD-16 gauge, Nether of the analogue out (BRN - YEL) wires from the LC1 are connected to the gauge. You need to use the 2.5mm stereo wire "out" that comes from the LC-1 and plug it into the "in" wire on the gauge. Then a 2.5mm terminating plug goes in the "out" side of the gauge. Unless you are programming the gauge. Also done using the Logworks software.

 

so where can i find this terminating plug? car stereo shop? or can i just leave the slot empty?

and how important is datalogging? how do i do it? what "extras" do i need to buy and can it be hooked up to my s300?

 

It needs to be terminated properly in order for the two pieces of the chain to work. The guy you got the kit from should have one. or I have them listed on my Blog under my Ghost's Picks page; Replacement Terminator Plug
