Does camber arm cause a need to be out of alignment?
This is the one arm camber kit for the 8th Gen Accord. The OEM arm is just one solid piece without the adjustment portion in the middle.
My question is, because it's adjustable, is it more likely to be out of alignment over time? This is based on the thinking that anything movable or adjustable will more likely need to be adjusted over time.
Yes, I understand (OEM) suspensions do get out of align. But the fact that it's adjustable, does it make it more prone to be out of spec?
Also, let me slide these question on coilovers systems. Tein basic for example.
- If set the ride height, get it aligned. Once I change the height, does it go out of align? I understand certain specs go with the right height, for example, more negative camber the lower it gets. But pretty much all others should be in the set spec?
- And if I set the ride height back to where it was, will all the alignment specs go back to where they were?
TIA

I don't think it's possible for those type of arms to "slip out of alignment, or for the setting to change. Either way you should have your alignment checked at least once a year, or more. I go in every few months. (lifetime) Which is deffinetly worth looking into if you unsure of the ride height you want.
EVERY time you adjust the height of the car, it needs to be aligned. Camber/toe will change.
Also, when you install those arm's make sure you have it aligned ASAP. Camber changes toe.
