whats up guys i swapped in a used d15b and have had a noticeable increase in oil consumption and burning. sometimes smokes at cold start up or right after an oil change, smokes at high rpm stationary or under load and when im also driving in the hills at inclines.. did compression and leakdown. comp good across the board as well as leakdown.. now i have a feeling it could be valve seals but not to sure.. i dont know if it makes a difference but the engine came out of an auto and i swapped it into a manual..

 

Sounds like valve seals if it smokes after you leave it off for a while
