i brought a bunch of ecus this weekend. one eded up having a burnt q31. the seller replaced it and told me to keep this one. i figured i might use it as a spare/parts.

from what i read the q31 wont throw a cel, but the evap system wont work. will this be a good ecu to chip and sell to someone who is tucked/shaved with no evap system?

 

That really depends on how badly it burnt the board and whether or not it effected any other circuits. I tend not to sell people burnt boards, best way to keep things safe. If someone was to bring a burnt one to me. I will try to fix it though. I have one here that I couldn't fix and I use it for parts.
