I know some of you like to bash Ben and the AJR crew for their bias towards Spoon products, but he has always been courteous and helpful to me anytime I asked for his advice or help...even though he knows I usually pick up my goodies whilst travelling thru "JDM Heaven"

Case in point: I recently acquired a slightly used Mugen intake via a friend in Tokyo; when it appeared the damn thing would not fit in my '00 Si (even after I yanked an AC line outta the way ), Ben offered to send me pics of the install on their EK Civic. Upon seeing his pics, I realized that I somehow have the new version with the S2000 filter element - the shape of the "horn" will not fit in my Si without MAJOR modifications

I can imagine King Motorsports telling me to get lost if I had posed the same question to them...

So Ben (and Alan) will always get 2 big from me

Highly unlikely.

I'm sorry, I should rephrase that...Bob Clark has been very courteous to me in the past.

What I meant is to say is that I do NOT believe King (nor these other "authorized" importers like AKH) would take the time to help out someone who did not buy their product thru them, certainly not to the extent that AJR did with my situation.
