Default is this a jdm itr or no? pics inside

i didn't know where to post this but where would be better than in the ITR section ^_^

ok story is, i picked up what is supposedly an jdm ITR from TahitianEG from Honda-tech, now I did my research and everything checked out but recently my friend said for it to be a ITR its stamp is suppose to be PR3-2. Mine's stamped PR3-3 and I looked around on HT and Google and some say it doesn't matter and others do. So i looked for other giveaways and all of them seem to be a not for sure thing so here are some pics and i hope you guys can help me out and put my mind at ease. thanks for your help in advance. i hope my thread helps others that have the same problem as me lol

i've checked google and HT, so don't say to go use the search. they all have different answers.

i checked the intake mani, the block, supposedly green paint behind the dizzy and i dont have it but on google and some HT threads they say the green paint is an easy way to tell but the paint can fade or be cleaned off easily.
the motor didn't come with a tranny but everything i checked is stamped P73 and the block is stamped PR3, the only thing thats not stamped with PR3 or P73 is the timing belt which is stamped P72 but im not sure if that matters.
if you can spread some knowledge let me know, i know others have this problem too

pr3-3 is just a later casting. changes nothing

the block also better not be stamped pr3

it should be p72

the 8 and the c are kind of suspect in that pic. they appear different than the b1

back of the block by the oil pan p72 should be cast in there. if your block is truly cast pr3 the only thing that would jive with in my head is a b16 which oddly enough also uses a pr3-2 and pr3-3 head.

really hope you didn't buy a restamped b16

Its not a b16 block restamped... its either a JDM ITR or GSR long block you have there, with either a B16 or ITR head.

Most likely its a JDM ITR long block, since it is stamped B18C and has a PR3 head with matching P73 pieces like the throttle cable holder ect. That is the correct timing belt btw and the PR3-3 or PR3-2 doesnt matter

it's not actually possible without pulling the head. 99% of the time if you have a pr3 something head on a b18c block and the yellow / blue combo springs in the head you have an itr

It has a port flow stamp on the head... so this makes me wonder who the hell cares if its a B16 or an ITR head at this point. Portflow has worked on it, so its not stock anymore. Probably has port/polish work in which case it wouldn't matter WTF it was originally... no?

^^^ This.

The IM should be stamped P73.
There are camshaft ID threads with pictures, but who knows what was done to this engine.
