I have owned lots of honda's and a Rsx. I traded my 07 Si for a 08 tl with 18,000 miles. There many issues to keep a eye on? I know nothing of their v6's. Know everything about K's, B's, and D's series thou. Also how do the leather seats hold up? I am very gentle on them but my fiancé constantly uses the seat heater will this cause quicker wear and cracking on the seat? Any info is great.

 

If you visit Consumer Reports, you'll see that (like all Hondas) the Acura TL is basically solidly reliable and the people who have driven them for many hundreds of thousands of miles are reporting relatively few issues.

The J Motor V6 is relatively under-stressed and reliable.

Yes, the seat heaters will tend to wear out the leather faster. It's just a fact of life. It might be years before you notice.
