for someone who doesn't fab stuff up, I'm a little curious on the different options people may have on how to MOUNT my 6x4x4 catch can in my 1991 civic.













any tips or ideas would be greatly apperciated

Weld some brackets to it

wow that looks awesome.. wish i could weld aluminum... i like the first mounting spot.. also what about going a bit further.. say.. mount it INSIDE the cabin, near the floor..

has that old school rat rod appeal.. and you can mount a bracket so your catch can is in the glovebox... has anyone done that before

Go to lowes/home depot. They sell thin aluminum strips. Bend the strip around the catch can and bolt/self tap it into the firewall. That is the DIY way.

Or, you can go to a local shop and have them weld L brackets to it in a place that you want it. Obviously this will look considerably better than aluminum straps, lol.

 

I never said you made it, I simply told you how to mount it

 

Mount it on the battery tray and re-locate the battery to the boot........??
