Default Brake Light Pedal Stopper

a screw/nut to replace the rubber (tab?) that presses the brake pedal light sensor down?

The rubber fell apart the other night and now the brake lights are stuck on.

If so what size?

I've heard of people putting/gluing a penny on instead of buying the $2 part.

You can loosen and adjust the brake-light switch till the brake lights turn off (hopefully). Then in the mean time, order yourself a new rubber grommet for the pedal. I had to replace one once cause it fell apart on my REX. I think it was for the clutch switch though...

Hmm, gluing and a penny sounds like a total jimmy rigging, worse than the whole screw thing.

Has been workign perfectly for about 3 months now.

I used a bolt mine fell apart at the track and I got black flagged for my brake lights not working. So I pulled 10mm and put it in there.

I cut down a tab from one of the crx rear side privacy cover hatch things and used that. If it fails I will replace with a bolt.

This just happened to me last night! I was wondering when it was going to go. I used the ghetto method of taping 2 pennies to hold me over until the part comes in from Honda.

Cheapest fix is to use a normal-big zip-tie. Attach the zip-tie where the old rubber tab use to be & make sure the fat end of the zip tie sits right there. Bam problem solved! I fixed mine in this manner & have never had problems ever since.
