What are those beautiful red things on the brakes you see on porsche's and other high end cars

here's an example... what are they? Calipers, brake pads? how much do new ones cost??

 

Those are the calipers...the thing that grips the brake pads. What kind of car do you have? If you just like the color, you can buy caliper paint and paint your calipers to look relatively similiar to those...

yea i just pretty much want red calipers

 

thats a hot lookin a4... too bad its only the standard porsche brakes...

 

i take it that you don't do your own work like changing brake pads?

 

i only work on ECU and VTEC controller's... not physical work

 

that's still a pretty good upgrade!

 

how can u understand the concept of an ECU, wiring, vtec, and controller without understanding basic braking functions?

 

i want those for my hatch! Talk about braking power!!

 

I've never really been interested in anything other than computer functions in Honda's... Honda's for the most part.
