Just bought a used 95 accord which the previous owner had done something to the muffler to make it sound really loud. The mechanic said it was a cold air intake I think? Is there a tutorial online somewhere about how to remove this? I don't want it to sound that loud. lol

Is it a stock muffler? If not then that's probably the culprit. The cold air intake isn't just an add on, it replaced the stock air intake of your car. You would need to find the stock one prior to removing it. maybe someone on here would want to trade their stock intake for a cold air intake. If I had the generation accord, I would've been up to the trade.

 

I have OEM stock intake parts if you need them. Where are you located?

 

you can check junk yards to see if they have any stock intake systems you could use. a stock intake from a 94-97 accord will fit your vehicle.

look up the helms manual. you can download it off some sites
