We've been putting together all of the components to build our 67mm single turbokit for the 350Z. In building this kit we have been designing some other bolt-on pieces for this vehicle.

We started with cat deletes (test pipes) for the Z and we really want to get a smooth tone from the vehicle so we have incorporated resonators. We designed our own mufflers out of titanium for the testpipes....











Were starting with the test pipes and putting the Ti mufflers in there and then going 2.5" titanium back to 2.5" Ti mufflers in the rear....







We haven't put packing in the rear mufflers yet until we finish rolling the center section out of perforated 20 gauge Ti...





Should be a pretty good sounding system when it's all done we'll see how she turns out!

 

Man i'm pretty jealous! I want to weld some titanium lol I had some the other day and it was by far the funnest metal i've ever worked with! The puddle is sooo smooth. Good luck with those

 

Looks great. Not a fan of the sound of super-large tips, but some like the look.

where did you source the perforated sheet, trying to find some titanium perforated sheet right now and no luck.

 

Were actually making it our self getting it punched out and rolling it ourselves.
