Default b18c1 with p2t ecu.

Just put my gsr motor in my em1. Got a chipped p28 from phearable.net . The car pulls hard with the p2t , but not with the p28. After driving for about 35 miles, the car doesn't want to idle and when it dies it doesn't want to crank. If I put the p2t back in it cranks right up, and idle fine. Anyone have any ideas?

Contact phearale.net about your ecu.

We already replied to your email.

Please try unplugging your evap purge solenoid to see if it resolves the issue(s).

Some obd2 vehicles require you to do this when using an obd2 to obd1 harness, otherwise you will have issues such as the one you described.

If the issue ends up being the ecu which is doubtful, we will gladly replace the unit.

that fixed the idle issue, but the p2t still pulls harder. i am planning on getting it tuned anyway. thanks phearable for the great customer service.

Feel free to email us if you want to try another basemap. The p2t shouldn't "pull" harder.
The ecu we provided likely has a smoother vtec transition making it feel like it doesn't pull as hard, however on the dyno it likely outperforms the p2t.
