im bringing my crx for extimates sat. to be re sprayed. i think im gonna keep it og and have it re sprayed the stock yellow it is now. needs the usual body work on the fender and such and i also want to respray the doorjams. what price range should i be expecting and most importantly what questions should i ask before making my decision. ive never had a car painted before so this is all new to me. all your replies are hella appreciated. im new to the crx board since im selling my ek and so far it seems like an alright place to be.

Well first and foremost you might want to see their previous work. Also what type of warranty if any do they give.

 

Your gonna wanna, take a look around the shop. How clean it is, is it nicely organized, those two thing's can tell you alot on how well the will take care of your car. Take a look at other cars being sprayed or having body work done to them, ask what kinda paint they use look at the spray booth. You dont want your car getting painted in a bay that's just like shed with a big square exhaust fan in the wall, make sure it a nice spray both and well lit. a poorly lit paint booth will lead to a poor paint job. I will ask my instructor monday and pass the tips on to you.
