Default 85 CRX hazard light issue

Hey all, bought a CRX recently because I wanted a fun car to drive and work on. Dealing with a problem now where my turn signals work, but hazard lights do not. I pulled a combination switch off a 84 CRX I found at a salvage yard and swapped it out, same problem persists (everything but hazard lights work). Any ideas on how to tackle this? I'm in the military and they do mandatory safety inspections, my car is going to fail if I don't find a way to fix this =P

not too sure however i believe i had the same problem and my tailight where not working as well and it was a fuse thats in the engine bay that the same circuit ran the hazards?

Either Its something simple Like your bulbs or a fuse
the switches and harness last forever on ef

check relays as well as fuses or wires grounding out by the turn signals. Yes the harness can last forever if in good hands of it being taken care of but best way is to use a volt meter and test continuity to make sure there's nothing causing a short out or something. Do that after you have already checked fuses and relays etc..

replaced the relay, no change. starting to think it's the wiring--- the turn signals work, but turn off when I turn on the hazard... I know the hazards are wired straight to the battery so it seems the wires associated with that are not working... oy. any tips on troubleshooting and fixing wiring issues without breaking more things would be awesome.
