so im having trouble getting this car to drive. it drove fine yesterday till i park it for an hour then went inside the house then came back out cause i needed to go somewhere and when i put it into reverse it drove fine! but when i shift it into any of the d's to drive forward it would not move, only in reverse! i check the transmission fluid and it was at the right spot and still looks good. i check the shift cable and they were just fine. I NEED SOME HELP ASAP!

 

Broken transmission. Time to replace it.

Same symptoms as on my 96 Accord. No forward, only reverse works.

The weird thing is you said it happened all of the sudden, no warning signs? Whinning noise, weird shifts?

Check if the solenoids are working and not clogged?

 

yeah it drove fine just a little hard shifting thats about it. no warning sign, no noise whats so ever.. before i put it in the d's before it broke down it drove about 10ft then i heard clicking noise then it stop driving forward.. i had to reserve it to park it cause only reverse works now. ahhh

 

anybody!??!

 

Better source another transmission cause it sounds like that one is dead.
