Default 14" Tire choices?

Looking for a good performing reasonably prices 14" tire.
I need mostly dry/wet traction
I would like to get about 25-30k miles out of them at least.

Choices I know of are:
falken azenis - would be my choice but threadwear is bad.
Toyo t1s - good tire, supposedly great in the rain, but quite pricey
kuhmo ecsta supra - good, threadwear okay, fairly cheap

here's tires i know nothing about:
dunlop sport a2 - any good?
yokohama avid h4- ???

any ideas, any other suggestions?

iono about you, but if you want quality tires go for michelin (brand loyalty). they have pilot sport a/s that have good performance, wet traction, and street handling abilities.
i have a set of pilot xgt h4 and a set of pilot mvx 4(currently on) and theyre pretty good on traction and all.. im not saying theyre the sweetest looking tires and theyre no toyos or anything, but theyre pretty good all year round 14 inch tires.

The Dunlop ...A2 is a very good choice for speed rating. Sadly there are not many choices in a 14" tire for dual purpose use (road and track). I have the a2s on my CRX and they are doing fine so far.

Yokohama AVS-i or AVS ES100. The Kumho 716HP$ comes with a 50K warranty. I just put some on my CRX and they handle great. The Dunlop Sport A2 is also a very good tire and comes with a 50K warranty. Things to consider

Dunlop D60A2s have some really good dry grip. They're a step up or three from my Motomaster Predators during autocross!

What about "Musha-moto ZX" tires???

Sorry, I had to....

Currently, I have a set of Falken Azenis on 14" Del Sol rims I use for track/autocross. For awhile there I was using them for daily driven tires. The wear characteristics are not too bad for the price of a performance tire. Track use has really been harsh on them, but I am able to get a full season out of them along with various drag races in between.

Now for the strip, I use M+H' s mounted on some 13 inch Lenso's.

ok, first of all, i have 14 inch azenis, and they don't rub at all. second of all, michelin's are WAY overpriced. third of all, i've never liked dunlops, they always seem to go out of round.

that said, my recommendation would be all season bridgestone potenzas..check RE950 (i think that's the one) at tire rack. they come in 195 60 14, offer very good dry grip and amazing in heavy rain.
