Default What should I out in my cars tranny? Conventional or synthetic?

My tranny grinds at high RPMs and I thought that a synthetic fluid (mobil 1) would iimprove the shifting. I heard that synthetic is bad for Hondas, but why?

From what I've heard from somewhat reliable sources... synthetic does not have the proper friction modifiers to allow the synchros to work correctly. I tried it once in my trans. In sub-zero weather it made shifting easier. However, I did notice an occasional grind. Currently I'm using Honda MTL and I highly recomend it.
