Default Honda Civic 2000 Si Lowering Question.

I have 16x7 inch rims with 205/45's on them. I was looking at a kit that drops the ride 1.6 inchs would that work? Or do i need coil overs? I don't really want to get coil overs but don't want to order the kit and find out that don't fit.

how low do you want to go? if you only want to go "1.6" then that will work..

Progess CS-IIs. 350f/35o/r with shortened shock body gives you an AUTOMATIC 1" drop.. I highly recommend them. There's a reason they are currently sold out. With plain old springs you won't ever sit square on all four corners.

It was the eibach sport shocks and springs set-up. It's a 1.6 inch drop all around.

Eibach Springs
Model: Sport-System Kit
Details: Incl. Sportline Springs/Pro-Damper Shocks; Front w/1.6 in. Drop And Rear w/1.6 in. Drop;

What do you mean will they work?

Don't ever base your suspension setup on the wheels you have, there's no point to.

If you order coilovers for your car you will be fine. (Unless you buy shitty coilovers) They are adjustable so you are able to rasie and lower the car as you wish, with lowering springs you cannot do this.

The eibach system will work.

I know how coilovers work but my rims and tires are almost new and i don't want to buy coil overs. I want to buy shocks and springs and don't want to get them in and install them then the 1.6 won't fit like it sits to low for the rims and tires.
