Default 2000 civic Auto trans not working

I am not allowed to swap to a 5spd

2000 lx
Girls car lost all gearing, no code, figured was TQ converter, it fell into gear with a slam, and had no forward, but reverse was fine. filters were clean but still cleaned em again. Nothing... fluid was fine

Put ex trans in( didnt know about that issue) still didn't go. Bought a ex ecu, it didn't do anything different other than throw a fault ecu code... Joy...
Ex trans with ex ecu, it should be shifting no issue, but I have nothing. And a new code 7 Throttle angle sensor or circuit has popped up.

So new trans , tq conv, and ecu and nothing. Any Idea's? Once again, I am not allowed to swap it.

Was the tranny and tq working in the donor? Are the axles fully inserted into the differential? The auto transmission needs the TPS signal for proper shifting, so definitely fix code 7.

That EX ECU is going to throw codes 21, 22 & 23 unless you swap the engine too, or at least the head and add the knock sensor. What year EX ECU did you use? Easiest thing to do here is to replace the tranny with the correct one. Btw even when using an EX tranny with an LX ECU it will shift reasonably well, somewhat harsher than normal and with a delayed reverse engagement, along with throwing codes P0700 and P0715 after a while, but it wont have the issues you're having. Either the new tranny and or torque converter is bad or you did something wrong when you installed it (although I can't think of what)

It's not gonna run well, I would have just kept the original ECU and suffered through one code as opposed to 3 given the choice.
