Need A Service/ Help: 99-00 EX Manual ECU for testing It'll only take a few minutes.
I need someone who's willing to let me test their ECU on my car just to cancel a bad ecu out of the equation. If anyone's got an ecu for a 99-00 Civic ex Manual OBD2B and doesn't mind driving down near downtown to let me test it out I'd greatly appreciate it. My cars jerking and throwing a CEL It may be the IACV but then again it could also be the ecu so I think that's the easiest thing to check without getting my hands dirty.
Thanks for looking, Bump if viewed. I'd like to get this done as soon as possible so if anyone out there has the time I'd thoroughly appreciate it.

I've searched and read about 25+ threads and that's the more common answer. Not saying it's wrong but in about more than half of those threads people cleaned even replaced the iacv to no avail. I'll get to cleaning it like everyone else has but i've got a hunch it won't do a darn, ya know. I think the most overlooked problem could possibly be the ECU so i just want to be at peace of mind knowing whether it is or isn't the ecu.

So just so everyone understands. Ideally. Someone would drive to my house. park in my lot let me put the ecu on my car for a few seconds start it, check the idle level and the CEL if it all works i'd like to ride it up the block and back just to make sure the car isn't Jerking violently anymore. I'll even let you help yourself to some of my burned CD's in the glove compartment. I've got a lil Sublime, some BLU, Dilated, EXILE, Eminem, Emanon, Alotta goodies, even got some Australian hip hop for that ***. lol anyways please let me know if someone's up for it, as I would do the same if needed.
Help this guy out.
You dont need to have an ex ecu.you can also use a dx or lx but you wont have vtec.

alright my man it's also what Ron suggested. I did the pin trick and It was reading Code 14.
Thats your idle air control valve.
My guess is a bad iacv or a wire cut in between from ecu to valve. Your ecu will be the last you will have to worry about.
