so my brother and i put a z3 in his car after he blew up his a2. since we have gotten it running the motor breaks up like the ecu is in limp mode. the car revs are being held to 7500 then breaks up like its in some type of protection mode or sumthing. does anyone know how i can take it out of this mode or has any one had this issue at all? any and all help will be appreciated thanx in advance

 

When you changed over to the new motor did you change the calibration inside the EMS? Did you check and sync the timing to the new motor? Did you calibrate the throttle sensor? Was there anything changed on the old motor that is not on the new motor? Was the old A2 tuned?
