First time poster..long time viewer here at hondatech....and i have a question for the wheel guru's. If you guys are familiar with the offsets of a MK5 VWGTI this would help much more.

I have a set of 5x112 -3 piece Schmidt CC wheels sizes are F-18x8 R-x9.5 that i have been wanting to work on to fit my passat such as widening the lips and having them repainted, etc etc....and never got around to it. The passat is now gone and i have these wheels that I believe have potential for the S2k. I have a 2007 BB S2k and i was wondering if i can modify these wheels to fit?

These wheels came off a GTI and have a high offset around +45.

Do you guys think these wheels would look good/work on my s2k? Ill try and post pictures of the wheels asap

I'm no wheel guru, but in silver they look ***ing awful. But in black, suddenly they work - good luck mate..

I think it's going to look awful no matter what color they're in. Good luck on the re-drilling answer, though. I can't help there.

 

dont bump this thread dude...youre trying to put FWD wheels on a RWD vehicle and have them redrilled...just buy wheels made for the car...and fyi, those wheels are hideous
