Default My first stock rebuild on EK4 B16A2 after broken timing belt (pics)

Hi,
After a broken timing belt I have to plan a stock cheap repair/rebuild to my daily driven civic.
The car has 130k miles and was burning 1 quart of oil every 600-700miles.
Before pulling the head I replaced the timing belt to check compressions and the results were very good with cyl #1,2,4 in the 215-230 psi range and cyl #3 with 100psi.

I checked the valves filling the intake and exhaust ports with fuel and the two on exhaust side on cyl 3 have major leaks + one exhaust side on cyl 2 had the same major leak. All the others seals perfect or have very very little leaks.

To fix the head what do you think about it:
- general clean
- new 3 bent valves + seats and guides if needed
- new valve stem seals
- lapping to all the valves
- resurface if needed

My other questions are about pistons, rings and bearings..
Now that I have the head pulled what do you suggest?

Can I change main bearings with the crank in place and engine in the car?

anyone help?

What do you think about DNJ parts from Rockauto for a cheap rebuild? DNJ makes gaskets and valves for the b16a2. Are them worth it?

All depends if you just want to do a stock rebuild, if so I would suggest using OEM Honda parts. IMO just build it from the block up with the $$$ you got. Just don't make any short cuts, do it right the first time.
