Default any one have a port and polish on there type r?

i was just wonder if there is a big power gain from a port&polish i am getting a b18c R swaped into my er and was considering this power option.i just wanted to ask someone who had it done to see if it was worth the money and if they had any problems associated with it.

It gives you more power and makes things run happier. The more mods the more it makes from what I understand. You could also get your deck done as well. That might add a little compression depending on how uneven your deck is to begin with.

correct me If I'm wrong on any of this.

I'm stupid, I thought the ITR motor was already ported and polished? Or is that just the intake manifold?

It is, but it's a VERY mild one from what i understand.

All the factory does is rebowl the head.

The only head ITR I've really taken a good look at is a 2000 ITR head.

Exactly how are the older ones different?
