My wife's 2001 accord would not start so i checked the battery and found battery post loose. Then car started fine but the radio was dead. Then i checked radio fuse and it was ok. So i swapped the fuse with the window fuse and radio power came on asking for code. I entered code and all was well. The window also worked with radio fuse. After i turned the car off, same probem, dead radio. Finally, i replaced battery because it was from 2006. Now radio is dead. Any suggestions?

 

Recheck all of the fuses, is there anything in the owners manual about changing the battery and the radio?

 

What do you mean dead radio?From what I understood the fuses were O.K to begin with,right? So basically you came to the same start point as before?The radio is dead?Is it asking for code again or is it doesn't come alive?I think you having a problem with the battery.
