I have a '96 civic sedan Lx with power windows and locks and I replaced doors from a '00 civic onto mine also power windows and locks but now door windows do not go up or down. Why is it that the doors dont work?? What is the best solution for my situation?

 

Did you check to make sure this was a compatible swap prior to swapping these out?

 

This is for an EX but I'm sure the differences are the same.

Well thanx for thread..they say the harness are the same but pinout is different from 96-98 to 99-00. Is this why the windows wont work? because power is not being received to doors..and would i have to change pinout for each door harness or only driver side front?? and also what if i change whole floor harness from a 99-00 that connects doors fuse box ecu fuel pump etc..will that be a better solution then changing each wire in harness????
