For a D16Z6
Using the stock recommended NGK plug.
Pre gapping plugs, how to and how much?

^^^ What he said. I never go over .045" on ANY plugs, on any car, no matter what 'they' say...

Oh, yeah - buy one of those 'silver dollar' sized gappers that every auto store sells at the counter. Push the ground electrode down a little to close the gap by pressing it up against a counter top, then slide the gapper in between the ground electrode and the center electrode. Work the plug around the gapper until you get to .045" and it's set...
