Default P12 ECU in CD8

Hey guys! I've been doing some research around this forum and some others for a bit now and I can't seem to find any answers. I've tried the search function on this forum but it gave me mostly for sale threads with few threads with guiding knowledge. All in all, I'd like to know if a P12 ECU from a Prelude S with a presumable F22a motor will indeed mate and work with a 94 accord DX, which also came with a F22a1 motor. I search and searched but could not get a definitive answer.

I came across this ECU from a friend and tried it in said car. It ran fine for a bit then it started to run a little rough. After that it stalled itself out, and will only run for a moment then stall out again. After that I replaced the stock ECU. I'm just trying to find out if this p12 ECU is compatible with said car, so far it doesn't seem like it, but why? Supposedly the two are the same in almost everyway, being the fuel maps are the significant difference? Perhaps i have been lead to something short of the truth.

Thanks in advance for reading my long nagging post.

P.S. I know very well I can be flamed for asking to be spoon fed, but i got my flame suit on =]
