Default which cams to get

motor: b16a sirII

im looking at two set ups of cams and am wondering which would be the best way to go?

1st choice: ctr intake cam and itr exhaust cam this will be cheap but effective for street driving.

2nd choice: skunk 2 stage 2 intake and exhaust cams more expensive but very good cams and good for dailt driving.

i have the money for the skunk 2's but im haviong a hard time deciding what to do i can get the itr ctr set up new and have extra cash left over for tuning parts such *** gears yada yada yada or i can get the skunk 2 set up and have nothing left for tuning purposes and leave the cams set at 0!

Jun III all the way! Whatever cam you get make sure you have proper valve to piston clearance, or you will end up like me... blown motor!

i have ITR's in my b16 along with the ITR valve-train and manifold and i have to say i am really enjoying vtec right now. i'll admit that i wouldn't mind more power and going with the skunk setup but i have a hole in my pockets right now if you have the extra money, i'd go with the skunk but if you just go with the CTR ITR setup, you'll be pretty satisfied

if you have a stock compression b16aII, i recomend you get the ctr setup(itr and ctr ex.cam is the same), its by far the cheapest way for your setup.

if you go with the skunk2 stage 2's you will need and upgraded vavletrain, type r vavle springs is not recomended with these cams so skunk vavle springs is the best way to go with these cams.... plus you will not get the full potential of the cams with out high compression...(i would say 11:1 and above)...

stick with the CTR cams
