I'm thinking about swapping out my CTR cams and picking up a set of skunk2
stage 1 cams. I'm currently running CTR pistons with a 2 layer spoon headgasket in my b17a. Does anybody know if there will be any clearance issues? This is a daily driver so I want to make sure that I won't run into any major issues with this
setup. Do you guys think the swap is worth doing? I'm looking for similar midrange power as the CTRs but with a some more up top. (running ITR valvetrain setup, 8500 rpm redline).

You will be fine, and your car will pull even better with the Skunk2 Stage 1 cams.

The Skunk2 Stage one cams have just barely more lift than the CTR. The way they make power is with the duration. I wouldnt think that you would have any problems. If you are interested i have some Stage 1 cams and cam gears for sale. IM me for details if you are interested.
