Default Need Help on B18C1 to B18C5 conversion

I just replaced my '97 GSR head with a '99 Si head with 19,000 miles and a 5-angle valve job. I put a Skunk2 intake mani instead of the stock one (plus it was missing the stock Intake mani anyways) and a '96 LS throttle body. Well the engine starts, it runs, no valves tapping the pistons, it purs, but very loudly. The lowest idle we managed to get it to idle at 1500rpms, and when we plug in the IAVC, the engine starts to surge up to 4000rpms and back down. But because my motor is OBD2 and like 2 sensors on the GSR Intake Mani aren't usable on the Skunk2 mani, it causes a bit of confusion on the plugs. So I might try switchin them around and see what happens.

This swap is done with stock parts only, stock GSR pistons, stock valves and springs in the Si head, but had 5angle job done to them. I ported over the GSR cams, and Cam Gears. I had a chance to drive it, but I didn't really get on it, I went a little under half-gassing it, and I noticed a considerable difference in low-end, and mid-range (after Vtec Accuation) torque. I wish though I had a chance to put real ITR pistons, but I didn't have time. Because we're using the GSR pistons the valve settings are way different (using the Si settings right now), because the Si Pistons equal to 10:6 vs 10:1 (GSR). I think I can open up the valves a little more than the Si settings.

I don't know if anyone out there has done this setup, or has seen this setup. But please any help would be greatly appreciated.

take your intake off so that you can see the throttle body....look for a hole to the bottom left of the throttle body on the inside...plug it up with your finger while the car is on and tell me what happens.
