I recently got an alignment done on my 96 Accord LX, and the techs found the camber on the driver's side rear wheel was -1.0, which was highlighted as out of spec. They weren't able to adjust it because there is no factory adjustment for rear wheel camber. The alignment was out on all the wheels generally, and they fixed everything that could be adjusted.

The last two tires I had before the alignment on the driver's side rear got worn on the inside down to the steel wire. Is it likely that this -1.0 camber is causing this abnormal tire wear, or was it more likely due to the whole car being out of alignment generally? If the problem is probably the rear camber, how should the rear camber be fixed?

Is -1.0 camber very out of spec, or is it nothing to worry about?

 

It is out of spec and will wear out the sides of your tire quicker

Do that Camber washer trick and you're good to go

 

just pulled out my sheet from my alignment...i have -2.5 and -2.1 in the rear for camber....no issuies yet....it has list -1.0 - 0.0 as within spec...so you are right at the edge
