My radiator fan will not run
I have trouble shooted the problem down to what I believe is a wiring problem. I have replaced the fan, the relay, the fuse, and the timer box.
When jumpered at the relay terminals the fan will run so the wiring from there on is ok. I THINK the wiring that energizes the relay is bad. I have a wiring diagram and have looked at the fuses in the circuit. Anyone have expereince with this problem on their Accord? I need to get this fixed ASAP.
Thanks,
Rod

Have you tested the two temperature switches and there wiring? There is switch A located on the thermostat housing (engine end of the lower rad hose) and switch B located on the water neck/cylinder head (engine end of the upper rad hose)
One of them I cannot get multi meter leads on. I tried jumpering both out and the result was still the same.
If it helps anyone else, I figured it out. The fan was bad but was difficult to diagnose because the relay I bought new did not work. It came from Advance auto. It fit, but was probably not manufactured correctly. The correct schematics were hard to locate as well and the Hanes manual had some mistakes in it as well. It showed the pins of the relay in the wrong positions. I was glad there was no wiring problems.
Having the same problem. My mechanic replaced the relay a couple weeks ago and the fan would come on as needed, but it stopped working again a couple days ago. I can get fans to come on when I hit the A/C switch (these cool the radiator too, right? I'm new to this car and haven't spent much time checking things out under the hood), but they stay off the rest of the time. I'm getting sick of having to blast the heat when I'm stuck in rush hour traffic to keep the temp gauge from climbing too high.
I've got a '99 4 cylinder if that changes anything

As Ghost Accord said above, try that sensor on the thermostat neck with the two wires and greenish connector. You can see for sure by jumpering the connector with a wire, but it will flag a code in your computer and the check engine light will come on. That is easy to reset but MAKE SURE you have the radio code before you do this.
