so my girl has a 99 acccord.
someone recently tried to break into the engine bay, but was unsuccessful in doing so. thats not what makes me mad, its the fact tghat the OEM alarm didnt do its job and go off to ward off the theives
it will lock the car doors, but ive never really heard it go off, and my girl has only ever heard it once.

ive searched for the past day and ive gotten no info on how to set it
anyone else having issues or maybe had it before?
maybe a point in the right direction on where to go?
