s1 tranny question

I have a b16a2 motor with the s1 transmission, I wanted to know how to figure if it is the short geared vtec tranny, or the long geared non-vtec tranny.

also, I have the partial vin on the tranny but no the full 17 digits

The tranny has nothing to do with VTEC have you tried googling s1 transmission

i know it has nothing to do with vtec but i wanted to know how to find the gearing. because its either off a b18 or b16

b16 is short geared performance based versus long geared for effiecientcy

more than likely a jdm b16, I think MOST usdm DA integras got the ys1 trans

then again that s1 could be from canada or europe in some weird trim level
