98 Civic coupe with B18C swap running rough
Hey whats going on everyone? My name is Greg and Im a fellow HT member who was part of the 2006+ group. I recently sold my 07 Si and purchased a truck. After 6 months I felt the need to buy another honda so I purchased a 1998 civic coupe. Now that the intro is over let me sound like a noob!
Im new to the B series game. I basically have knowledge of only K series engines and the newer hondas. I purchased the car with a motor swap already done. Ran the vin on the Block and its a B18C from a 98 gsr. The head is a PR3-2 which i read is from a Sir civic B16. The car was running rough breaking up real bad and had a PR4 ecu with a jumper harness. I recently bought a p72 to try to see if the ecu would help the running rough problem. It did not help. So Im wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction of what to do first or what could potentially be the problem.
Thanks again and yes ive been searching and googleing the **** out of everything but cant seem to find anything that makes sense.

Thanks for the welcome. The car will be getting a CEL reading done and it also will be getting a new cap and rotor changeing plugs and wires and seeing if that helps. Also might be switching to a P28 ecu.
