HELP ASAP. Front brakes keep "locking up"
i got a 89 civic si with a d15b7 and the front caliper keep "locking up" to say. i have have rebuilt the calipers, put new brake lines, rotors, and pads on the car and the problem still is there. I can drive about 4 miles then both of the calipers are smoking and basically burning. if anyone knows how to fix this pleaseee help!
I've read online about ppl replacing everythin i've done and replacing the master cylinder and they're still having a problem. so im asking before i go dumping more dang money into some dang brakes. im dumb-founded about what it could be
thanks in advance for any help!!
btw, this isnt the right place for this i know, but while im postin this this vehicle is currently for sale, if anyone is interested with the vehicle as is, send me a pm with an offer!

Check brake booster, try to get your brakes to heat up and lock. Put your foot behind the brake pedal and pull back to see if pressure releases.
I had a wicked problem with my nissan, turned out to be a misadjusted brake push rod on the power booster.

I had a similar issue not long ago with my sisters accord. The front brakes would randomly come on even when not braking. Obviously the excessive wear and heat required the replacement of the pads and rotors. I also did both calipers, all of the slides/hardware, and the brake hoses, but the problem remained. I finally got a new MC from rockauto and she hasn't had the problem since.
N3va3vaSatisfi3d- i doubt the hoses are collapsing, i replaced them with new ones.
skunk.werks- thanks for the input, ill have to look into that!
Spug- yea i was hoping that i wouldnt have to replace the MC, because i've read that this has happened to someone and they replace the MC+ everythin else and the problem still occured, but i might have too.
thanks everyone.
