hi i have a 1997 honda civic that just recently started bogging, it has been throwing out thhe code but im shure for how long but i took it in to get it diagnosed and the mechanic said it was the CKP sensor, so i canged the distributor and it has very low idle and shuts off... what else could it be, can it be that the timing is off? any help would be appreciated

After resetting the ECU, has the CKP code returned?
