wrecked lude
I have a 92 Prelude S with 214000 miles on. I just rear ended someone, and the car still runs ( i drove it home) I'm not sure what to do with it. My insurance does not cover collision, and was curious whether or not it was worth putting money into. The extent of the damage is as follows: the front bumper took most of the shock, its cracked here and there, the hood is curled up in the front, the car runs ( drove it 8 miles back home) but the i'm not sure about the condition of the engine. I was considering selling it, but I do not want to part with it. I was driving about 40 miles and hour when i hit, but the airbags did not deploy. Please give me ur opinion about this, and tell me how much u think it would be worth if i sold it in its current state, or fixed it up and sold it. Thanx
I totaled my 92 S a year ago when I rear ended someone, but I couldn't part with it so I got it fixed, but that was with insurance money. It runs just fine and I havent had any problems. If ya love it keep it
Little off the subject but is it automatic? And i believe u only have one airbag instead of airbag(s). thats a little cheaper. I have a 92 S auto for sale acutally (only asking $3800 obo) click my signature. It has 155k on it. and u know it has alot more miles to go. driver side only airbag. But my 94 vtec has 2 airbags. But i would fix it. I am gonna miss my 92 but i am not going to far away from it.
