Default FS: 1994 Civic Ex Coupe (EJ1) GT30R Turbo B16, A/C, PS, Cruise

I'm looking to sell my 1994 Civic Ex Coupe. It has a built B16 paired with a GT30R, along with all the Ex amenities that came with the car from the factory. I bought this car 7 years ago from Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
I have been in the Honda game since 2002 and have owned three Civics from then till now and have worked on many more. I am looking to move into something a little bigger with 4 doors.
I built this car to be fun to drive, fast, comfortable, and reliable. I just recently drove it down to Import Alliance in Nashville, TN which is a 7 hour drive each way from me, then again recently drove it 14 hours east to MIR in Maryland for the Import vs. Domestic World Cup Finals and I would trust this car for daily driving, no problem. Boost controller is currently set to 12psi, tuned by Suja1 Motoring in Chicago up to 18psi.

About the Car

I took my time to rebuild the motor as to get the exact parts I wanted and to get everything done right. I sent the block to Justice Racing Engines in Fredrick, MD where they spent 4 months getting all the machine work done. There they hot tanked everything, and balanced the whole rotating assembly. Always had the rev limiter set to 8,450 RPM just to be safe. All the turbo stuff has been bought from either Full-Race or T1 Race Development. I had Tony Palo from T1 install the Hondata with PWM boost control. I also kept all the accommodations that came on the car originally such as A/C, power steering, and cruise.

Transmission/Clutch

B16 Transmission
Transmission Rebuilt with All New Seals and Bearings Replaced
GearSpeed Inc. Carbon Coated Synchros
Stage 5 Competition Clutch with 6 Puck Sprung Disc
Competition Clutch Ultra Lightweight Flywheel
Stainless Steel Braided Clutch Line to Slave Cylinder
OEM Honda LSD
StreetImports Intermediate Shaft (15% Thicker than Stock)

I had the transmission rebuilt shortly before putting the turbo setup in the car so I knew it would be able to handle the power after I boosted it. I bought all the carbon synchros, bearings, and seals from GearSpeed Inc. I had the local Honda dealership take everything apart, check everything, and replace all the bearings and seals with new. I also had them install the carbon synchros to help with shift engagement. Their is the occasional grind when going into 3rd gear which is common in these transmission. I refilled the transmission with SynchroMesh when reinstalled. I also installed the new clutch when I put the tranny back on. It is the Stage 5 Competition Clutch, originally came with a 4 puck unsprung disc. To make it more drivable on the streets I purchased a 6 puck sprung disc to use instead, paired with a Competition Clutch ultra lightweight flywheel.

Suspension

Koni Yellow Adjustable Struts
TEIN Springs
Skunk2 Pro Series Plus Front Camber Adjustable Upper Control Arms
Rear Strut Bar

At the same time I had the transmission rebuilt I replaced the inner and outer tire rods, lower ball joints, put in Skunk2 upper control arms, and sway bar link bushings. The Tein springs and Koni struts were put on at the end of last summer and they have less than 1,500 miles on them.

Inside

Dynamic Auto Design (DAD) Seats
OEM Honda (EG) Lower Center Console
OEM Honda (EG) Fog Light Switch
TunerView II by HRTuning
AutoMeter Pillar Gauges (Boost, Battery Voltage)
Pioneer DEH-P6500 Head Unit
12” Audiobhan Subwoofer
Pioneer 760 Watt Amp to Subwoofer
Pioneer 300 Watt Amp to Components
5% Window Tint
Power Windows
Power Door Locks
Power Mirrors

Outside

15” GSR Blades
Kumho Ecsta AST Tires (205/50R15 - 86H)
Carbon Fiber Hood (Painted on Outside Edges)
TYC One Piece Black Housing Headlights

The outside is pretty good condition, The guy I bought the car from in 2004 had the whole car resprayed at Honda with the OEM color. The main flaws are the paint on the front bumper is chipped in a couple spots and the hood is showing it's age. There is no rust in the quarters where all these cars seem to rust first. There is also a small scrape on the drivers side rear quarter right above the tire, not too noticeable but shouldn't be too bad to fix.

There are also a lot of other small things I've done with this car along with all the regular maintenance's.

This car has been garage kept majority of the past 5 years and mostly driven only on the weekends since rebuilt motor installed. It has only ever seen the winter for two years in it's life when I first got the car and hasn't seen any rain in the past 4 years. I also don't drive it from about November to March, where I keep it in a climate controlled garage. I always told myself I wasn't going to sell this car, but after 7 years I think I ready to move onto something a little different. Well over $20K in this car.

SOLD!

Bump for a nice car! BTW...where did you get those CNC seats from and how much did you pay? I have a pair a little different, but they came with the car and I can't find any information on them.

Cool in the warm weather, hot in the cool weather! Perfect for a daily all year round! Doesn't get any better then having just shy of 400whp with the A/C on?
