I have an h22a currently running the stock p13 ecu. Will plugging I'm a chipped p28 help a tremendous amount? Is it worth it? Also, is so what base map should I run/not run withthe ecu? Anyone with experience?


I have a chipped p28 sittin in my room just waiting to come out and play but I have no idea what map it's running on ha how te heck do I find out?

 

Well you kinda have to get the right map and get it turned for it to help......

Putting a D16 map on an H22 is not going to help a tremendous amount. And if you don't know what map is on it I wouldn't plug it in until you get it reflashed.

 

you also want to make sure the p28 is set up for secondary butterfly's if your using a stock h22 intake manifold. if it is not it will have to me modded to work properly.

if you don't have any major mods to the h22 is suggest staying with the p13 for now. once you do get the chipped p28 set up its only going to be beneficial if you get it tuned.

 

Well I'm actually running a skunk2 intake manifold... I got all the basic bolt ons I/h/e. 70mm bloc trotttle body... So that's why I am now looking into that ecu to get a nice tune once my hytech headers come in

anyone know how to find out what a ecu is chipped on? i have one that is chipped but i dont know what its running on... supposedly it was on an accord like mine with the same motor but i dont trust buys on the internet and what they say is usually almost always false ha
