ef si hatch with b18 swap idle problem
okay so i bought an 89 si hatch off this kid with an idle problem.
the car idles between 2k and 25k rpm
the kid converted the wiring harness to obd1. but the engine is a frankenstein b18a1 block (obd0) with a 00 b18b1 (obd2) head. now theres a sensor right ontop of the intake manifold directly across the throttle body that is not being used because theres nothing to plug into it. theres no plug for it coming from the wire harness. i remember seeing this same sensor on my old ls swapped ek coupe. and when i removed it the car started idling when i plugged it back in it stopped.
i was thinkin that if i switched to an obd1 intake manifold it`ll eliminiate this issue. any other suggestions
