Just wondering, who makes the engine? he says chrysler, and I say mitsu makes all the engines, but the chrysler vehicles just have a chrysler head/logo on the head of their engines?? and in a race, he says I would probably beat him through 3rd gear, and then after that...he would have top-end on me..

(if needed i use my 75shot zex )

he has 96 ESi:
Cold Air Intake
Performance "muffler"

The motor, 420A, is a Mitsubishi motor. The whole DSM deal was a cooperation between Mitsu and Chrysler.

But you'll take him...the non-turbo DSM's are dogs. 140hp, in a 3000lb+ chassis. There is no top end! Unless he's spraying...

thanks for the info...i was pretty sure that even tho it was a "joint" venture, that mitsu. basically made everything..they all just look a little different..

the 420a was also used in the earlier model neon's.
