I just had the timing belt replaced in my 2002 Honda Accord about 2 weeks ago and something weird happened. I turned on the car and it now makes a weird noise, like a rock rattling. I opened the trunk and it seems like the noise is coming from the motor. Is this normal or should I take immediate action and have the motor checked? I'm scared to drive the car for fear that if I take it out it'll die on me. What should I do?

Stop driving the car! Take it back to the repair shop and have it inspected! Sounds like a failure in the job somewhere?

 

Maybe they dropped a bolt or something in there
