Battery Indicator Light on a 2000 Honda Accord
A couple of days ago my Battery Indicator light came on. At the same time the Open door indicators and Break indicators lit too. The indicators go off if the engine is revved.
I tested the battery, and yep it was dead, so I replaced it. But the indicator lights are still on.
So I had the alternator tested at OReily's and it showed that the voltage at idle was only 11.83v and the Diodes tested good, but the regulator was bad.
I've checked the battery ground and connections on the alternator and everything looks good.
Is there anything else I should check, or is it time to pony up for a new alternator?
Thanks a lot for your answers.
