got my mil spec in the mail strippn most interior pulled old harness seperated it but kinda stummped to were ima tuck it at open to suggestions more work tommarow and pics
bump got tranny out and most other stuff gonna finish cleaning tommarow then start fillin in holes and routn my wires gonna weld holes no bondo will post progress

was super bored didnt want to do more srubing in the bay so i port matched up my intake gasket to my y8 manifold and port and polished as far down as i could on the runners also bored at school so i polished the whole mani.
Did all the work myself tree carbide bit cartridge roled it then flap stick used 60 grit but i think imma order some 100 grit and hit it again

didnt get much done have the flue but noticed my intake needed more taken out for a true flush port match will post pics later hope to start buyn more parts atleast get engine bay tucked and painted befor winter
im thinking of using this motor in my hatch and goin k wit my sol
its a benson sleeved d16y8 block bored 75.5mm arias 9.1 pistons clevite main and rod bearings scat forged h beam rods crank girdle notche for rods ceramic coating on side skirts and top coat all bearing clerances checked wit sunnen dial bore gauge and gauge setter

i built this motor lookn for around 4 450 whp obviously wit boost in mind 20 to 26 psi depends wanna run 91 so might have to w/m injection too have a y8 ported head but not done wit the polishing yet just 3 angle gring will post pic of that too i did all the work myself so it was alot cheaper this way just check all clearances and use proper torq specs

used alll genuine honda seals, oil pump, water pump pan gasket valve stem seals exept cometic .030" mls head gasket and gates racing t belt im a beliver in oem quality parts on engines or better thanks for lookn
here is my y8 head ported up decked and seats cut just 3 angle as stated knife edged the exhaust side and runded off intake so it wouldnt make air flow directional intake port matched waiting on exhast mani to port match exhaust side close ups are ex side couldnt take a good pic sorry folks
i finished my intake so here it is port matched and polished up
also did more work on engine bay decided too wait too pull my brake booster till i buy a tube bender and flaring kit so i can reroute my b lines thanks for lookn

so i finished up the head everything went pretty smooth exept i nicked a few seats i new i wasnt done porting and shouldnt have got the seats cut waiste of money but i like this port job much better the casting is a poor casting had lots of casting flash but it will do
they over cut the seats in from factory so dimples below seats mostly on ex side also found fender door and rear disc conversion ebrake cable and all for 200 happy bout that and maby door side moldings all around
