I have a serious problem I am trying to get an answer to. I was on vacation until Saturday. I was on my way home when my grandson and I stoped for gas. I went in to use the rest room while he fueled the car. I came out to find he had FILLED my 2001 Accura TL with deisel. I never started the car. I had the car towed home. I cannot find the valve to release the deisel from the tank. Can you help me? I have gotten under the car and looked everywhere. I cannot even figure out where the gas tank actually is. Please help me. I cannot afford to take my car in for repairs right now after coming off of a two week vacation.

I asked my friend and he said there is a plug right before the exhaust resonator. There is a black plastic guard covering it. What ever you do not start it. Drain it and fill it with about 5 gallons of gas to rinse it out. We had a guy with a ep3 do this last week.

 

Thank you for your speedy reply. I could not find it so I broke down and put it in the shop. Out $100 bucks but my car is running like a champ!
