Default '98 EK4 from France

Hey !

I'm new on HT. My name is Nicolas and i live in France. First of all sorry if my English is bad, i try to do my best but you know ... I'm French ...

I wanted to show you my EK4 which is my 2nd Honda.

Before this one i owned an EK3. Here are few pics:

I liked this car but after 2 years i wanted to change for something a bit more powerful. Here is the EK4, the day i got it:

After a few months i installed an EK9 carpet, EK9 door panels, EK9 shift boot and ****:

More parts and more fun: ASR subframe + EK9 swaybar + skunk2 LCA

Then i decided to install EK9 brakes on it:

And finally, on the road again with its ITR rims:

At the moment, my head gasket is saying good bye
So i'm gonna start the rebuild of my B16 soon with some minor mods.

Hereafter is a sum-up of my current setup.

Thank you for reading me.

Exterior:
- EK9 like headlights
- '99 EK taillights
- OEM EK9 wing
- EJ8 frint bumper + EK9 like lip + fog lights
- OEM EK9 rear bumper
- Red ITR rims

Interior:

- EK9 shift boot and ****
- EK9 door panels
- ITR seats
- Oil pressure and temperature gauges

Chassis:
- EK9 big brakes conversion
- ASR subframe
- Skunk2 LCA
- EK9 swaybars
- Posjitech coilovers

Engine:
- Zenky racing intake
- 4-1 Invidia header
- Decat pipe

looks great man, ek9 brakes was the biggest upgrade !!

why not get a b18 bottom end, build it stronger, than put your b16 head on it..?

I don't have the budget to buy a B18 ...

In France we only have B18C4 and B18C6 and they are just so expensive that it is cheaper to transform my B16 into B17 !

source a b16b ctr block, you can install a b18 crank

or buy my b18c5 usdm itr block, needs a rebuild so its inexpensive, and good for you since your rebuilding

The B16B is more expensive than a B18 ...

In fact I already bought a B17 crank and rods. I want to do something a bit "exclusive" in France. Most of people i discussed with, didn't know that B17 exists ...
