Default Brake lights

So, after my battery going dead, I charge it back and hook it up. Turns out my brake light are stuck on. Pressed the pedal and pulled it and it moves freely. My guess is the "stoplight switch" (from AutoZone). So now I ask:
(1) Does this sound like the culprit?
(2) Where is the switch? ( I assume at the top of the pedal assembly?)

1.) Maybe.... a lot of the times the "stop" falls out of the pedal causing this to happen.
2.) Yes.

Turned out to be the "stopper" on the pedal. Glued 2 pennies in place and good as new. Actually better since the pennies won't break.
